I was planning to do some major spring cleaning today.
I was planning to make fun and delicious brunch for the kids & myself.
I was planning to share with you the wonderful book I am reading.
I was planning to share new products with you.
I was planning on a long walk in the beautiful sunshine we have today.
I was planning to write a great post about Jesus and Faith.
I was planning on making a major dent in the laundry pile.
I was planning on a wonderful Zoom meeting with my Bible study group.
I was planning on a productive and encouraging Zoom meeting with my team.
I was planning to do some school work with the kids.
I was planning to have a great dinner ready when my husband gets home.
But it’s after 11:00. And I haven’t been out of bed very long. I’ll probably get back in bed soon. Because I woke up with a migraine. So, this is the best I can do. It will all be there tomorrow. And I’m writing this post not to evoke pity, but to encourage you…that’s IT IS OK to not do all the things. IT IS OK to rest. IT IS OK to not be OK. There is no need to beat yourself up. And YOU ARE ENOUGH! I hope that you are well, and much better than ‘OK’. I’d love to read later, when I come back, all of the wonderful things you are doing today, or that you are saving for another day. This is such a great community, and I appreciate each of you and being a part of it!
Here’s to tomorrow,
